The primary research direction pursued in the BAE LAB is to exploit fundamental chemical catalysis as a tool for further multidisciplinary and practical applications in the synthesis of biologically relevant molecules, materials science, and biology. We describe the research themes, mainly based on asymmetric catalysis.
